New season started up, 3 episodes dropped. Last season was one of the biggest fights I've ever seen in a show, live or animated. The destruction was crazy. I've really enjoyed watching Mark grow up and try to be a better man than his father and I especially enjoy his releationship with Eve. I expect this season to be another awesome one.

Watched with my son. Focusing on Mark killing as a solution to problems will be interesting all season.

Rex and Monster Girl stuck on the fast aging with planet will come to an interesting conclusion with them coming out older.

Eve with the pregnancy scare. Is that what is messing with her powers?

Just when you thought the voice acting couldn't get better they bring in Lee Pace as Thragg.

Love this show. Season is great so far as usual. Foundation made me a big Lee Pace fan.

I had to search invincible then go to the Eve series and click related to find it.

I love this show, it's always top 10 maybe their algo is messed up

Didn't read the comics so forgive me for the dumb question: why do the citizens always get mad at Mark when he fights the bad guys and it causes so much damage? Surely it's understood that the only reason he's fighting is to save the citizens from the thing he's fighting right? I get he's technically a Viltrumite but he's never been the one to cause the destruction on his own (except evil Mark's from other dimensions).

A couple thousand people were killed in Invincible's fight with Omni-Man, his father. A couple more thousand were killed by his fight with Conquest. And a whole lot more were killed by alternate Invincibles. Sooner or later you start to blame the common denominator.

True but surely people would realize that without Invincible, everyone would die instead of a couple thousand. I guess it's a universal comic thing because it was one of the themes in the Batman vs Superman movie too.

That fight with Conquest was the most bloody fight I've ever seen depicted. Going through that beach and through all those people and bodies was insane. That and all the destruction of buildings and cities are good reasons for the dirty looks. You are exactly right.

Weird filler/bottle episode with Damien Darkblood this week. Nice to hear Bruce Campbell as Satan.

Setting up a bunch for the next episode with the return of Omni-Man and Allen.

I caught up too after being busy at work. That Mark vs. Conquest fight was hard to watch. The fight vs. Thragg was crazy. The power scaling will need to be huge to take him down.

Weird complaint, but I know shows used to care a lot about what commercials were shown during thier shows. In streaming with commercials it doesn't seem like they care anymore. There was a really dark moment of destroying a whole planet immediately to a happy weight loss drug commercial.

So Omni man with help destroys the planet.

Thragg easily beats them.

Thus, he should easily destroy Earth.

FYI, Lee Pace's dad was in O&G and he went to HS at Klein in the NW Houston burbs.

That was wildly good.

I would imagine they are going to earth to basically rule over them and reproduce. Their ultimate goal is to repopulate and rebuild. Leaving Mark alive was some pretty heavy plot armor.

I felt like it was more emphasizing that what the Viltrumites should have realized all along about Earthlings. That Mark represented what could save their whole race. Nolan has gone to hundreds of planets to find suitable mates to make viable offspring. That was his whole mission so it seems like a little bit of a disconnect that they didn't realize sooner the value of humans. Maybe Thragg couldn't realize that until after viltrum was destroyed though. Him sparing Mark was, to me at least, more symbolic. He can kill Mark at anytime but Mark represented their last hope. And even for a Viltrumite that's hard to kill.

Speaking of Nolan and his mission, you'd assume he'd be catholic or a polyamorous Mormon you know. He loves and leaved them all and wanted offspring, you'd think he find one of the Duggar girls or something.
