Gotta say I enjoyed my time on top for a week & am glad the season ended as my points were dropping faster than the Astros postseason chances....

Congrats to you agsquirrel97! Well played!

And thank you CK for running the show, we truly enjoyed it...

Anyone else thinking some poor intern lost their job last night for sending Riz out to Jeff before they showed the challenge on air?

Thought Aubry was a pretty weak winner. I know they don't really consider pre-merge, but she was probably the worst player in that part of the game. After that, she did deserve credit for the Ozzy move, but what else? His jury management was apparently terrible, but I think Jonathan probably should have won.

It wasn't just eliminating Ozzy it was guiding that vote away from herself when she was the 100% lock pick in a tribe of 4 with 4 guys who were allied together.

Then the decision was her or Cirie and she won, then her vs. Tiff and she won again. Then she won the final immunity challenge against two challenge beasts in Joe and Jonathan.

After 25 years of watching this show, they only got one wrong.

We are not there.

Jonathan made all the moves but he did a terrible job managing the jury. The only people that voted for him wanted to bang him.

I agree. I think everyone there knew how hard people targeted Aubry and her slipping through each vote won her the game.

That, and the fact that a lot of jury saw the post merge game as old school vs the middle. I really think the jury wanted the winner to represent the current state of survivor and strategic prowess. Unfortunately for Jonathan, I think Stephanie's lobbying for him made some jury conflate Jonathan as a straight old school player, even though he really wasn't. I believe that even if they thought his game was better, they did not want that stigma represented in their seasons winner.

I think Jonathan was very well rounded this season, but some jury maybe saw him as only loyal, or mostly loyal. If he would have cut Joe late in game maybe he wins.

Not to go political but i will.

Stephanie is super maga.

I don't know how Jonathon feels but it would not surprise me he's maga too.

So i have to wonder how much that played into it.

Well CBS just let the late night azz go last night, but one of the new players is a "former pride whatever..."

Maybe they will finally read the room sometime soon....

If it wasn't for late night azz, I would have been very lonely in college.

Thought she played a pretty solid game overall. Stayed under the radar as to not be a threat that voted out (such as Cirie, Ozzy), navigated the Ozzy, Cirie and Tiff votes away from her when she could have been on the block for any of those, won immunity when she absolutely had to, and maintained enough solid relationships on the jury to win their vote. Won't go down as an all time game, but certainly respectable.

Man Jonathan's exit press is not making him look good at all.

I think Jonathan played a lot better than his first season, and of course we only have the stuff on TV to go with, but he still kinda comes off as a bit of a bully who through his actions and lack of words probably makes some players feel belittled around him. Some of it is probably intimidation because he is the biggest and strongest and people expect things to be easier for him.

But I have no memory of him talking to the likes of Emily, Devens, or Christian throughout the game until very late in the process. Aubry figured out she had to have at least the appearance of a working relationship with everyone so that when things got dicey, she could easily move the votes somewhere else

Jonathan clearly got some lessons in politeness, but he's been at this quite a while.
