Maybe it's just me, but this series feels like it cranks out seasons super fast. And it's always quality.

He's amazing in just about everything. Might try to start s1 this week after the final of Alien: Earth.

I'm pretty sure there are commitments for Seasons 6-7 right now too. There are 9 books in the series.

I'd bet it's often largely due to other commitments by the actors, when you've got a big ensemble cast that's a lot of schedules to coordinate.

There are also only 6 episodes per season. I'm sure that makes a big difference.

Agreed. He's absolutely perfect in it.
I always wondered if Oldman let himself go and put on real weight for this or is he wearing a fat suit.

I love how he saves his most vile farts for Taverner at the bench.
Between the cigs, booze, hair, greasy Chinese food, same clothes every day. You can just about smell him when he comes on the screen. Then the farts start happening.

I loved that your first introduction to Lamb in S1E1 is him waking himself up with a fart. Best one is in the car while he's smoking with the windows up and he offers the guy his cigarette to mask the smell as he exits the car "Hope that don't get into the groundwater"
I am in the early stages of Season 4...great acting and really great series!
I misread and thought this started tomorrow. Wife is at book club tonight so not able to start it. Dang it.
Had no idea this season was coming out already. Love this series.
As good as Gary Oldman is, Jackson Lamb is even more repugnant in the books. My wife can't watch because she can't bear to see him this way

Off to a great start! Should be a fun, quick season.
Episode 2 was good. Excellent show.
Is there a synopsis of what previous seasons are better/worse than others? I watched I think all of S1 but that's it. I need to rewatch everything from the beginning I think.
All seasons are good.
This last episode was great, specifically the long story by Oldman back at slough house

That dialogue was really good. His flatulence and everyone's reaction was hilarious as well.
Not sure if the paint can death was a jump the shark moment but it sure feels like it.

Yea, not sure either.
Maybe it would have worked better without the Rube Goldberg machine aspect kind of slapstick?
I LOVE SHIRLEY!! She's is a honey badger crossed with a wolverine that loses every fight and runs to the next one.
The paint can doesn't bother me, thought it was funny and on point for the show.
