Agree.

I wasn't turned off by the first trailer as some of the online critics were, but I understood their point that the first trailer just reeked too much of James Gunn and Guardians. But this trailer is much better, and I think is a good indication (hopefully) the movie will stand on its own. The first trailer didn't feel like the comic book that this movie is based on, but this trailer definitely does. Now, I'm legit excited to see this movie

And Lobo looks great.

Lobo sort of looks like Beetlejuce on roids.

Looks fun, but does have a good bit of Guardians vibe in there.

So, is Jason Momoa playing two different DC characters, or is this some sort of alternate universe Aquaman?

His Aquaman is off the books, just like Cavil's Superman and Gadot's WW.
