Does anyone know anything about them or have experience playing one? I've been wanting to grab a bass to mess around with and learn and this looks like it might be ideal.

Maybe?

That Tremonti Tribal already sold. That was freaking quick. Testament to how few were made. I did have a guy tell me at one point Tremonti himself was trying to snatch a lot of them up. Think the only run they did was 100 guitars.

Bummer! I was hoping you'd pick it up.

BTW, decided against creating a Clapton thread. Found one from 2005 that covered the subject AND was blessed with a FAST FRED entry. Can't top that.

A FAST FRED christening is absolute gold.

Finished up a couple of pedals recently and thought I'd share.

1. BD-2. This one had a ton of components because of the multiple stages. It's a crowded board. I also did this one with gold embossing powder, which I probably won't be doing again. It was a pain. But my son and I (J and the E) enjoyed it anyway.

2. Benson Preamp. This one was a fun and easy build. Had 3 bias points to dial in and I think it sounds great. When I was building it, I didn't realize that a certain capacitor that was in the schematic I used is no longer included with the real benson. It makes the pedal run quite a bit hotter. So in a few weeks, I'll mod it by adding a switch that will allow a different value capacitor, the current value, and no capacitor in the circuit. Essentially adding low gain, medium gain, and high gain settings. Would also be cool to add an internal switch for Germanium transistors vs the normal silicon. Maybe.

Next in the pipeline are a Tacobolt/Superbolt, EP Booster, and Morning Glory.

Yes. I have a problem.

Wood Library 10 top with a Brazilian board and korina neck. I bought this simply as a collector's piece because of the color, top, and I've always wanted a guitar with a Brazilian board. I will be A/B'ing this and my other DGT over the weekend!

This one is definitely a little more used that my other one. There are a few areas where there is some light checking, but overall in great condition!

Looks awesome. Think you pretty much have to get to the Wood Library level to get a quilt maple top.

So, thought I would share my pedal board after adding what I hope to be the last piece. I had my two tube preamp pedals, my tuner, my EQ, my delay, my reverb, and my looper. I had an open spot on my board and, aft watching many videos and trying to check some boxes on my board I didn't have, I just added this Walrus Audio Mako MKII modulation machine (M1).

Found a decent deal on reverb and just started playing with it, today. Definitely a really fun pedal that gives me so many more sounds I can add to my signal chain.

Really happy with my board, where it sits.

Traded that Tremonti I had for sale for 2 PRS guitars. First pic is a Custom 24. Might have to keep this one but the original bridge pickup is going back in. Second is a CE22. There's significant clouding on the lower horn. I'll be looking to sell the CE. I can do $1000

Almost $70k for a Murphy Lab Back to the Future guitar. Good lord.

Was curious what we would see those go for after seeing all the videos for the Epiphone where they mentioned there were a limited number of CS Gibson versions of the 345.

I LOVE collecting guitars and I LOVE Back to the Future (one of my top 10 movies of all time). But I just can't imagine dropping that much money on a guitar that isn't from before 1965 or didn't belong to some famous musician.

$69k!!!! That can buy a couple motorcycles, guns, gold and some other really nice guitars.

But if I won the lottery, oh hell yes I'd buy it.

Pretty good sale on acoustic strings today if you like 12's.
