I would be very excited about this, if true. The original is iconic and, apart from the excellent first season, the HBO series was very uneven. Let's see what Spielberg can do with it.

I'm not sure my movie chills as a child got bigger than Vader turning on Palps at the end of ROTJ, but a close second is probably the sound of Optimus Prime declaring "Megatron must be stopped, no matter the cost."
