And now that it's started - all the Christmas music is OFF the radio. All the media has moved on from Christmas - just us real Christians are just starting to celebrate Christmas.

Well, f 'em. The lights stay up until well into January. Christmas music will blare until then as well.

If you're tired of Christmas, well you're suffering from Premature Participation of Christmas. Don't go all in so early - try to enjoy the ride slowly and don't come to Christmas before its time.

Christmas decorations should go up the day after Thanksgiving and come down New Years Day while watching bowl games.

I'm fine with the 12 day Christmas season. The big cultural shift is that marketing already got you to buy all the Christmas stuff so they need to push new years related things to manipulate you to buy something else.

It's been so hot and humid here over the last week that it never felt like Christmas. Plus I've worked the last several days. I'm leaving my decorations up and will enjoy a cold night of replacement Christmas festivities at some point in the next few weeks.
