When I want taquitos or chic fil a it literally takes less time to DD then for me to drive across town. I'll gladly pay a couple bucks extra for the convenience. Stop being so poor.

Yep. Agreed.

So backstory, I did UberEats on the side for fun a little over a year ago to get an idea of how much $ I could make. Together with alcohol deliveries, after vehicle expenses I was clearing on average $25/hr for when I had spare time to kill. Not terrible!

I'm conscientious yet still never used a heat bag. I can only imagine how careless people can be when dealing with others' food if this is their primary way to make a living, which for many it is. I've never ordered food delivery since.

While I don't disagree with some of posters here regarding "third" party deliveries, do you think a domino's delivery driver has a higher standard than DD/uber drivers? Ever been in a kitchen at a restaurant? Have you seen the way they operate as well as the waitresses that don't wash their hands and stick their fingers in your food? It's all a crap shoot.

When did that change?

I used to see the Marco's drivers coming and going when we would pick up pizza there.

Been that way for awhile. I think they like to keep it in house but I guess if somebody doesn't show up they send it through one of the services.

My fiance did some doordash, part time, for a short period of time when we lived in Alabama.

She would do the driving and I did everything else. One time when I was dropping off I got quite the surprise. It was a trailer house and the front door was wide open. You could smell pot, and they had wires running out tje door and through the yard. They had some sorta weird lighting going on in the inside. Next thing you know, some young woman, probably mid 20s steps out in her panties, says nothing, totally stoned, grabs the food and walks back in the house.b

I would describe her as "trashy hot"
