Oh gosh I'm so sorry! I wish you would have seen my post before he got you. It's so disgusting this is so prevalent! Texags used to be the easiest and safest place to buy and sell. Remember the days before we could transfer from our acct to theirs? We would just make an agreement (hand-shake deal over the phone) and there was never a doubt that the person would show up at your designated meeting place to make the swap (even if, by the time game day rolled around and they could have gotten a better ticket for less money) and finalize the deal. Or we would mail the ticket and they would send a check at the same time.
We can no longer trust that everyone on TexAgs is "a good Ag". It's a real shame.
I think the time has come that the staff needs to compile a document with all the steps that someone should take when trying to buy tickets off this site. The staff needs to share and explain to their users, all the different ways and "tricks" these scammers use to take us. It wouldn't be that difficult.
Short of that, those of us who have gotten scammed, should post in detail what happened in our particular case.
