I bought a spinshot player like 6 years ago, and it turned out to be a bit loud and not reliable,

I had to change out the control panel on it mainly and a few other smaller item parts,

But looking at the spinfire, it looks like it might be an upgrade, I also like the lobster elite 3.

Do y'all have a favorite or have you worked with one? Just looking for some review

Does the machine need to be relatively portable?

I coach hs girls and boys tennis. We have a Tennis Tower ball machine and it's been great. It's on a wheels, but need somewhere on site to store it.

In the past we had poor results with a cheaper Lobster Model (12-13 years ago?)

We also have for a long time a Tennis Tutor machine. Still running after about 8-10 years. It's not on wheels- so we drag it on a cart. But would be more portable if carrying back and forth from a car or whatever. Not a huge of the lid on it (we rigged the lid to stay open permanently and hold balls in a more sturdy fashion).

I'm seeing advertised more and more AI tennis ball machines.. But don't know people with first hand experience with them.

I talked to my tennis coach about the machines. He said the tower is great, it can even simulate serves.

I wish I had bought a house with a tennis court, but I didn't so I need a portable machine. But the tower sounds incredible.

I ended up purchasing the Lobster Elite 3 yesterday. My coach said lobster has been around forever, and from what I read it is one of the more durable machines. I was debating whether to buy the latest spinfire, it was my second choice mainly because of the durability of the lobster.

Thank you for the reply and your insight.
