I think we kinda have a player personnel problem, but missing Duchy, Roope, Lundy and Back is almost impossible to overcome. Hard to be super critical.

I'm encouraged by the attention to detail and willingness to grind and play defense/clean hockey, but I do absolutely worry we don't have the horses to really compete even fully healthy. Time will tell.
I should add Benn in there too. He's just better than half the lower six players we have out there right now.

Avs signed Necas to 8 years 11.5 AAV. Stars related because I really thought this was going to go down the same way as Mikko last season. I'm an Avs fan, and everything I had been seeing was that they were not going to be able to sign Necas. Necas is off to a great start and I figured would be too expensive to sign. Some people were saying he was unhappy in CO too.

These are good points right now. It's not fun or flashy at the moment, but it works. We're going to look different in one month. Two months and the end of the season.

I have a feeling despite the Winter Classic being perfect, we'll never get a truly outdoor game. Too risky that it will be warm, we got so lucky that day.
