Great win considering who's missing from our lineup.

That was a really good win. Much more of the foundation of what Gully wants us to do. Need to keep doing that and then add Roope, Duchene and Back back into the lineup when they get healthy. Surprisingly I thin Seguin has looked really good and engaged moving back to C. I wonder if they'll throw around the idea of him continuing to play there because He's been exceptional at tracking back on defenese.

That said, we still struggle mightily in getting the puck out of our own zone at times. Petrovic is brutal with it, and Lindell struggles a lot with it at times too. I wonder if Petro's value being a huge presence is being outweighed by his inability to skate and pass, and how long they'll try it.

The Dallas Stars have responded to yesterday's lawsuit filed by the Dallas Mavericks by filing a countersuit late Tuesday night. The Stars are claiming the Mavericks are trying to execute a hostile takeover.

My son sent me a great suggestion for the shootout… "a defenseman should be allowed to start behind the opposite blue line and chase down the shooter."

This would be an awesome rule lol.

You'd probably also have to have the rule say the defenseman is allowed to do whatever they want to the shooter, because we'd probably end up with a ton of penalties which would normally result in a penalty shot lol.

Not sure if anyone saw it, but the Stars traded Christian Kyrou to the Flyers for forward Samu Tuomaala. Kyrou was never going to break through here and all the sudden we got alarmingly short of forwards.

He's a 22 year old Finnish right handed winger; 5'11" 190lbs. We need more right-handed guys in the forward mix so I see this as an overall positive just from that perspective. Likely will never do much here but good depth, especially right now.

The TNT hockey and former TNT basketball crews, along with the CBS/Paramount Champions League studio shows are the best thing on air. They have fun, are entertaining and bring you the games.
