I just don't get it. She literally just turned 23. We likely have people on the current team older than her.

I wish some US track pundits would start applying some public pressure (making remarks on live broadcasts etc) about Mu and Kersee. Its clearly not working and regressing. The dude simply can't coach 800m. Unfortunately none of that is gonna happen with Jackie being his wife and on the board of directors for USATF

Currently, she's just going thru the motions to fulfill her sponsorship and contractual obligations it seems. Her focus appears to be her fun new life and her family/marriage. She's obviously talented and could regain form if she really wanted to. I'm not sure she really wants to at this point. Fortunately she was blessed athletically and physically and might realize she has a long career ahead and doesn't want to burn out. Look at Brazier. Definitely sucks to see her in the position she's in - hoping she turns it around bc it's kind of embarrassing to see her finishing dead last in a race she used to dominate.

Four schools in four years. This one does appear to be a promotion though. Perhaps he gets to coach an event area he is familiar with this go around vs. the job at USC too

Does anybody know if Maggie Malone-Hardin is going to throw? I noticed she wasn't listed as qualified for the World Championships.

It looks like she only competed twice after the Olympics last year and her only listed competition this year was at the Yangtze River Delta Athletics Diamond Gala in China in May. From what I can tell you need 5 competitions to make the Quota list so she isn't on that and hasn't hit the qualifying standard. So even though T&FN has her #1 she would need to get the standard to go.

It doesn't appear that she is entered in the competition. Saw that both Connor Schulman and Kennedy Wade will be running. Cooper Lutkenhaus is entered in the 800 - will be fun to see how fast he can go with faster guys to push him.

She's had labrum issues that I don't think are fully resolved
