The Fightin' Texas Aggies nearly watched a 19-point lead completely slip away as Montana roared back to make it a one-point game in the final seconds. However, clutch free-throw shooting allowed the Maroon & White to escape with a much-needed 86-81 victory.

Leading by as many as 19 points in the final seven minutes, Texas A&M watched its advantage dwindle to a single point in the dying seconds as the Aggies ultimately outlasted Montana on Tuesday night, 86-81. With the win, A&M ends a two-game slide and improves to 3-2 on the year.

With a pair of "buy" games this week at Reed Arena, Bucky McMillan & Co. must get back on track, but it won't be easy on Tuesday night as the Montana Grizzlies come to Reed Arena for a "rare" Quadrant 3 home game on the non-conference schedule.

Texas A&M has lost its last two games, and as the Aggies look to get back on track, they'll host a Montana team that won its conference and went to the NCAA Tournament last year. Entering Tuesday night's matchup at Reed Arena, the Grizzlies are 4-1 and averaging 87.8 points per game.
