Texas A&M is expecting a big leap from Donnie Baggs in 2013, from reserve to leader in the middle. Behind him wait an assortment of athletic and exciting, but unexperienced, linebackers. What will the result be?

So far, junior linebacker Donnie Baggs has started one game in his Texas A&M football career.

That makes him the most experienced linebacker this spring.

With Steven Jenkins sitting out most of the spring with an injury, Texas A&M’s linebacker depth chart shows a junior college transfer (Tommy Sanders), a converted wide receiver (Nate Askew), a rarely-used letterman (Shaun Ward) and a couple of freshmen who could still be in high school (Brett Wade and Reggie Chevis).
