Ball Five: Pitching impresses in closer-than-expected sweep

Texas A&M's pitching was fantastic vs. Penn, and they had to be as the Aggies struggled to find any offense over the first two games of the weekend at Blue Bell Park. A&M allowed just one earned run (and two total) in a sweep of the Quakers.

Aggie baseball continued their hot start to the 2026 season with a sweep of Penn. No. 23 Texas A&M now sits at 7-0 on the season, but this three-game set was not without its blemishes. Despite the stellar pitching from the Aggies across the board, there were certainly concerns with their bats in the first two games of the series. Nonetheless, the Aggies took care of their business against the Quakers and had a lot of bright spots to build on overall.
