Texas A&M adds former Fresno State TE Richie Anderson III via transfer portal
The Aggies have made an addition via the transfer portal today as former Fresno State tight end Richie Anderson III has announced that he’ll continue his collegiate career at Texas A&M.
He’s the fifth commit of this January window.
At 6-foot-4 and 255 pounds, Anderson has two years of eligibility remaining after three seasons out west — the first of which was a redshirt year. Last fall, he hauled in 31 passes for 300 yards and three touchdowns. In his career, he has 49 receptions and accrued 447 yards. He also has a reputation as a plus addition to the run game as a blocker.
Anderson is a native of Tualatin, Oregon, where he also starred on the basketball court.
