Texas A&M weathered a 16-0 run by Pitt that put the Aggies in a second-half hole as the Maroon & White fought back to win its fifth straight game, 81-73. Now 7-2 overall, the victory in the ACC-SEC Challenge showed the Maroon & White's ability to fight through adversity and beat a conflicting style.

Texas A&M went on the road and found a way to win. The Aggies got the SEC on the board first in the ACC-SEC Challenge. In three years of this event, A&M is now 2-1 and just earned its first win on the road. Styles make fights, and the fast-paced Bucky Ball won out over the slower Panthers. Bucky McMillan passed his first test against a power conference opponent that wanted to play the exact opposite style. It wasn’t pretty, but it was exhilarating.
