The old adage "patience is a virtue" seems to gain more relevance as time goes on, especially in the ever-evolving world of recruiting. It's something both programs and fans alike often lose sight of over the year. The recruiting calendar may be stretched, but patience goes a long way.

It's long been said that patience is a virtue. 

I've started to understand that more and more as time goes on.

If life stretches you thin, or your bread falls jelly side down, the natural human reaction is to get panicky. 

Far be it from me though to pen a self-help article.
