Texas A&M senior safety Steven Terrell invoked an old football cliché to make his point about the importance of precision in pass defense.

“It’s a game of inches,” Terrell said.

That’s true, but the Aggies’ success in the secondary may be a matter of a foot.

That would be Steven Campbell’s foot, to be exact. A broken foot knocked Campbell out of the last four games of the 2011 season. Now, he’s playing with a screw in the foot to hold bones together.
