KANSAS CITY, Mo. - The Texas A&M basketball team proved that there is still life left in 2011-12, as the Aggies gutted out a 62-53 victory over Oklahoma Wednesday in round one of the Big 12 Tournament.

With the win, the Aggies improve to 14-17 on the season. The Sooners' season is over, as they fall to 15-16.

A&M shot 38.2 percent from the field and was 5-of-15 (33.3 percent) from three-point range. The Ags made hay at the foul line, shooting 88.
