A highly touted recruit out of high school who made some noise as a freshman, Daylon Mack's output has declined each of his three seasons at A&M. With the help of new strength and conditioning coach Jerry Schmidt, Mack thinks his final year will be his best.

An injection of maturity and a tune up by new Strength and Conditioning coach Jerry Schmidt may result in Thee Mack Truck — as senior defensive tackle Daylon Mack calls himself — off blocks.

Mack has shown flashes of his enormous ability in his first three collegiate seasons, but overall has been a flash in the pan.
