Texas A&M pulls away late in uninspired victory over Pepperdine, 81-65

The Aggie men's basketball team struggled on defense and lacked energy throughout most of its tilt with Pepperdine, but a late burst from Tyler Davis and steady shooting from DJ Hogg allowed the Maroon & White to pull away late.

A day after Thanksgiving, the Aggies played like they were stuck in a tryptophan-induced coma as they sleepwalked their way to a 81-65 victory over the Pepperdine Waves to move to 5-0 on the season. The last time the Aggies started the season 5-0 was 2014-15, a season that saw the Aggies make a run to the Sweet Sixteen.
