Friday night’s game was never really in doubt, but Santa Barbara was managing to stay within striking distance and Texas A&M couldn’t seem to create any significant separation.

Then D.J. Hogg caught fire.

Hogg made a three in transition in the early part of the second half to give the Aggies a 15-point lead and then made his next four from behind the arc as A&M cruised to an 84-65 victory over the Gauchos at Reed Arena.
