The Aggies had to climb out of a late deficit against the Gamecocks, scoring two fourth quarter touchdowns to seal the SEC victory. Keith Ford bulled his way to both scores, and the A&M defense stymied South Carolina and quarterback Jake Bentley late.

Keith Ford powered for touchdowns of seven and 17 yards to highlight a wild fourth quarter rally that lifted Texas A&M to a 24-17 Southeastern Conference college football victory over South Carolina on Saturday night at Kyle Field.

The Aggies (4-1, 2-0) were dormant through most of the second and third quarters and trailed 17-10 heading into the final 15 minutes.

Freshman quarterback Kellen Mond routinely made big plays to extend drives and Ford made the big runs to finish them.
