2018 Sweet Sixteen well within reach for Williams, experienced Aggies

Despite a disappointing end to the basketball season, Texas A&M hoops fans have a reason to celebrate. The return of Robert Williams and a very talented core of experienced players means next year's squad will certainly have the look of a Tournament team.

The Sweet Sixteen sites for the 2018 NCAA basketball tournament are Los Angeles, Atlanta, Boston and Omaha. Write those down, because Texas A&M could — and maybe even should — make a trip to one of those locales this time next year.

The announcement that Robert Williams will return to A&M for his sophomore season alley-oops the Aggies’ projections for 2018. Williams’ return makes a successful run in next year’s NCAA Tournament a realistic goal — maybe even a slam dunk.
