HOOVER, Ala. — In some ways Trevor Knight is a prodigal son coming home.

He’s returned to his home state of Texas after an ill-fated sojourn into the wilderness. He was given no robe or sandals. That likely would be an NCAA violation, though Ole Miss probably offered.
