NFL eyes turned College Station's way on Wednesday even without Johnny Manziel and Mike Evans' participation — and at least two Aggies only helped themselves with strong numerical performances.

NFL teams can always use fast, strong running backs.

Texas A&M’s Ben Malena showed on Wednesday that he can be both.

Malena bench pressed 225 pounds 22 times and turned in a respectable 4.54-second clocking in the 40-yard dash at Texas A&M’s Pro Day.

Andrew Cagle, TexAgs Malena is compact but powerful and his blend of strength and leadership may be enticing to teams with late picks to spend.
