In-Home Visit: Texas A&M set to ink 2026 recruiting class on Wednesday
On the eve of the early signing period, Texas A&M is putting the finishing touches on what should be a top-10 class of 2026 signees. With a few names to watch ahead of Wednesday, the recruiting duo of Jason Howell and Ryan Brauninger runs down the latest involving the Maroon & White.
Texas A&M's 2026 class is well-positioned ahead of early signing period
With stability and a culture of development driving the Aggies toward championship potential, the December signing period is still vitally important for programs like Texas A&M, and with the class of 2026, the Ags are well-positioned before prospects put pen to paper on Wednesday.
Quick recruiting note regarding coaching changes
Auburn and Florida have made their hires. That's newsworthy in its own right, but both of those programs hold commitments from Texas A&M targets in S Bralan Womack and DE KJ Ford, respectively. From what I've been able to gather this morning, neither of those players has much familiarity (if any at all) with Alex Golesh and John Sumrall. As such, I believe the already open door for both prospects remains very much ajar for Texas A&M. Two sources have already expressed a fair amount of confidence in A&M's standing with one other giving a more cautious outlook which was more rooted in the unpredictability that's so prevalent in recruiting. The intel we have would suggest that we make provisions to include both Womack and Ford in our national signing day preparations - at the very least to be better safe than sorry. It's a situation we will continue to monitor through Wednesday morning. As of now, I do not anticipate any sort of imminent public announcements regarding the status of either commitment.
