I want to preface that I was someone who went to about a dozen home games total in undergrad. I am not a die-hard volleyball fan - but I love my school, and follow our team, especially when they are in the postseasons! I think I went to every possible sport I could at least once with my all-sports pass.
I was able to watch the last 3 games of this year's team, and wow, how incredible. I wish I could have experienced the whole season. Thank you to all the true die-hard volleyball fans out there who showed up for the girls and rooted for them every game - you and the logo on their uniforms were who they were playing for!
Selfishly, can someone please start the movement to get this season as a Netflix documentary so I can witness it from a different perspective? I want to feel every moment of it, see behind the scenes, and understand the triumph/grit/passion of our team from a different lens. I mean we beat 3 #1s, did the impossible of beating Nebraska at Nebraska, and swept the last two games - I feel this would appeal to a lot of people as well!
I can already see the title: "Why not us?"
