Who would you chose? All of them balled out so it's hard to pick just one but I think for me it's between Maddie Waak and Kendal Stowers. They really stepped it up. For as much crap that I gave Underwood and Helmuth, they also played really well. Congrats Ladies!

My vote is Lednicky but this was 100% team wins. Stowers was incredible as well

I'm going to ICO. Her presence screws up opposing hitters. The teams we've been do not make a lot of mistakes and look what we did to them. Defense wins and ours needs a strong block to succeed.

2nd would be Stowers. She's gotten a lot of visibility from her hits but Lednicky has been right up there with her. But Stowers defense is excellent and has gotten better.

3rd would either be Waak or just the defense in general.

The key was that everyone was firing on all cylinders for A&M. We were dangerous from all areas and in all phases.

This would have been my vote, but I get why they picked Stowers. Both very deserving.

Middles just don't get the props they deserve.

Agree its hard to pick one as the team has so many amazing players. As a casual fan i will say that Stowers' kill shots were the most exciting and seemed to at critical moments that elevated the team. My vote would be for

Kyndal Stowers

after watching Stowers tear up and receive the honor, it was the right choice. Amazing comeback story that culminated in the top honor of the tournament.

Hopefully her story wasn't what got her the award but she's a complete player that can do it all, not just hitting. Her story just made it special.

I think this is my first post on this board but have been lurking this year.(Hmmm, wonder why? Lol).

Have always loved the game and had daughters play many years in HS. My lefty had a killer serve and was a great back row player and my 5'5" outside hitter had a 34" vertical and could pound the ball. Fun times watching my girls.

First off Taylorswiftt needs a TA staff tag. Thanks for all of your efforts!

This team was a joy to watch from a sports and human standpoint. We wanted it so bad for these girls and man did they get it done.

I didn't catch every game but Stowers had the huge back row kill which was the first time I remember her doing that. Will that be a bigger part of her game going forward?

I'm hopping on this train and can't wait for 2026. Thanks again for all of the inside info.
I don't think you know me.

She had some here and there but rarely. Earlier ones were meh and some were decent but dug up. It felt like they were easing her in throughout the season due to her health issues or maybe it just takes a while to get that going after years of rest. I'd expect more of that next year!

The fact there are a lot of names deservedly being thrown out for MVP is why we are national champions.

Just thinking about this team really puts a smile on my face. They complement each other just perfectly. Each has spot and job to do and they all executed it perfectly.

We've been following our team all season but those that tuned in during the tournament all saw that this team plays differently than anything they have ever seen before. There isn't a single player who didn't pull their weight. Errors did not affect them. The smiles and reactions coming back to each huddle just looked and felt different.

It's hard to pick one because the offense is so balanced....which is really why we were so tough to beat!

I'd go Lednicky but Waak, Stowers, and Cos-Okpalla are equally good choices. I just know that when it got tight I was wanting the ball to go to Logan!

Nothing against our offense but our defense is what won the championship. Go look at Kentucky's hitting percentage for proof.

The Nebraska fans near me commented that they hadn't seen a team take Nebraska out of their offense like A&M did in the match in Lincoln. The number of blocks and forced hitting errors amazed them.

No doubt our defense was special. But you still have to be able to convert on the offensive end as well. Logan blocks well and she also plays in the back row, in addition to being an incredible hitter.

Ifenna is special. Stowers is special. Waak is special. Logan is special. So many Aggie legends on one team!

No setter on the all tourney team?

We had a lot of great effort this week but the speed at which Waak operated and the decisiveness of her sets was just amazing. It allowed our offense to operate at little speed compared to the other teams.

Very strange list. Seems like they could add a couple more spots and no one would have complained.

I feel like Waak was the MVP in the national championship match. She did a great job running the offense, and had her best blocking and defensive match of the tournament.

And let me add since i was critical of her in past match - Underwood was great during this run.

This

And as I said middles are like a linebacker trying to win the heisman. Hard to do.

Stowers played great but was most likely the 3rd player other teams game planned against. Cos-Okpalla I have no doubt brought the most concern by the other teams planning. Her defense was the most important thing for our NC run. Along with her serving and how many plays did she help win by diving for balls?

Maddie's sets were scintillating. She deserved more attention for that. Our back row and libreros dug almost everything they could reach.

Not complaining about the selections.

Seems like Waak should get more recognition outside Aggieland than she does. They often credit our uptempo offense for making it hard on opposing defenses but fail to acknowledge she's the one who makes that happen.

They are all deserving though and there's not a wrong choice. Such a complete team.
