Chestnut and Kiel both taking until they get a strike. 3-1 counts taking a second strike. I trust the rest of our lineup to be aggressive early in counts. I think Bear might have the best AB's on the team.

We have to eliminate the automatic outs in our lineup and get the speed on the bases.

I really believe this recipe scores a lot of runs tonight and gives our pitchers a chance. USC's hitters looked so relaxed but that's easy to do with a big lead. Crooked numbers early by Ags making USC play from behind and the ease at which USC looked to have at the plate changes. The first 2-3 innings will decide a lot tonight.

It can't be understated how much more it will do for momentum of the program to get to a super and not lose your home regional.

Chestnut and tk2 are most likely to be outs anyway.

If were gonna do that.....id rather have binderup and wilson where we might at least get some bombs out of the deal instead of relying on one swing at bats.

If were going this direction- id change the lineup as well in an attempt to get more people on base in front of Gavin. Sucks (sucks is relative) when he hits a solo shot or the line up turns over to him with 2 outs.

No. Duer is not a leadoff, not much speed. And, you don't want Grahovac's speed behind Hacopian on the base paths.

Don't know if it was just me but Sorrel looked like he had lost 10-15 lbs last night and was not swinging well despite the drive to center. He flat out missed at least 2 or more fastballs right down the middle at 90-91 at waist or slightly higher. A guy with his hitting ability should not have flat out missed.

Gavin is quick but not a burner. Duer is quick enough. Not worried about speed as much as baserunners and trying to turn Gavin's solo shots into >1 rbis

Both have been bad the 2nd half of the year, but go with the dude that has more upside

It does seem like in situations like last night where we were way behind and needed several multiple run innings that Jorian offers up more fireworks potential than Kiel.

I think switching Duer and Gavin is ideal. Duer is on a heater this weekend and allows Gavin to get some RBIs with his Nukes.

With that being said, I'd like to see a Sorrell bomb tonight.. can't really complain about his hits, but would I love to see something over the train tracks.

And all for Bindy and Wilson to return to the lineup tonight

I get this idea but the issue is when he's an out it's a strike out

We at least need to move some runners and force them to play defense and seems like Kiel has at least put the ball in play

Whatever the decisions are, the result has to be that we hold them scoreless in top 1 and mash beginning in bottom 1. We CANNOT send out a pitcher that allows a fast start for the prophylactics.

The top 3 are not changing, period.
