Effing bullsh**. I loathe softball. They took baseball and deadened the ball/shrank the field to make it so no one has to run much to get to the ball. It's a disgrace to baseball.

Squeeze Play is back though.

This is a bad take. Softball and baseball are very different games. Similar elements, yes, but if you think of softball as girls baseball you're doing it wrong. I used to think this way, as a baseball player, but it's just not true. I liken softball to a combination of baseball and whiffle ball. Some of the stuff these girls throw is flat out gross, but if you do get a barrel to one it's likely gone.

Softball is literally baseball with anything requiring athleticism removed (with the exception of the pitching).

Worked didn't it? Probably got in their heads a little too. Sheesh. Enjoy a win however we get it. Would you have complained if a squeeze would have polished off the vols and we won the natty? Give me a break.
