At first glance it looks to be more heavily weighted to RPI than the others but they didn't follow any of the metrics just straight-up for sure...

Lyons, Hubert, Cunningham, Powell was our pitching that game. But Tuesday pitchers for a Southland team are a whole nother level of down roster

Aggies played against quality teams down the stretch and fell on their face in all those series except 1, and then proceeded to no-show the SEC tournament.

A&M was rewarded for a great middle of the season, but they had an opportunity to be top 8 and blew it.

Frankly they should be excited they're hosting.

I don't understand Oregon ahead of us, but doesn't really matter. tu and UNC are both good teams

Regional seems manageable. USC really struggled against good teams.

This was the nail in the coffin for the "committees love pairing A&M and Texas" crowd. They had every opportunity to do it, yet strangely put Oregon ahead of us, avoiding it

You kinda wonder if they were wary of being TOO obvious. Knowing what they do to us in softball and men's basketball every year.

12 feels like kind of a slap in the face based on season results but they probably just looked at our pitching (lack thereof) and the slump down the stretch and said mehhhhh…….

He can say when he wants, but Will Bolt's mom told me in '97 that he'd always wanted to play at A&M. We only had 11.7 scholarships back then.
