Lessentine is in a funk. You can tell she's not right. Ford looked pretty irritated coming out of the dugout there at the end. I hope she pulls it together soon, she does have a lot of talent.

So McNese should have had bases loaded and no outs with their clean up hitter up. But one of the players got caught between 2nd and 3rd. And then the girl left 3rd and they end up getting 2 outs instead.

This isn't that much different than how last years regional started for us - our offense was rolling.

I was a little surprised to see Peters start yesterday. I feel like she has been more consistent this year, or at least lately, so you know more what you would get against ASU with her. As you said, Lessentine feels like she's been struggling a bit, very up and down. A rough start today and we will be up against it. (All that is 'feel' not facts, so not a shot at Lessentine, just a view on strategy). Maybe coach feels like Lessentine is a better 'stuff' matchup against ASU than Peters, that's certainly possible.

And down the lines in GA too. This happened last year in the regional too. I'm not sure what the dynamic is that changes it from being a hotter ticket in March and April.
