We need to make this happen. Take capacity at Davis up to 3500 or so.

I am not against that. Maybe something like Miss St has for baseball. That's what we need at Olsen.

As shortsighted as it was to reduce capacity of Olsen, I think it was even more shortsighted not to build Davis bigger in the first place.

I wish we had that kind of outfield space to expand Olsen when it comes time. I also don't like making giant stadiums unless there is a consistent need, but if we keep playing well in softball I can see the need for additional seating.

I go back and forth on this. I obviously love softball and think everyone else does as well but the fact remains that a typical Friday game will not have a large draw and having a half-empty stadium is a bad look. I like that tickets for a premier series are hard to come by but selfishly, I wish I could pick up a ticket anytime I wanted.

My main thought regarding outfield seating is due to the look during a televised game. The outfield seats make the stadium look so much bigger and better. I watched some of the games in Arizona this weekend and thought their stadium must hold a few thousand more people than Davis. In actuality, it only holds a few hundred more.

I enjoy taking part in making it fun to watch. And I can heckle the outfielder and not get in trouble for anything I say. Can't kick me out of the stadium if I was never in the stadium to begin with

Need to improve it to a berm or put seating in, but leaving it like it is not great

We stopped in Ole Miss or Auburn last year during the baseball regionals and one of them had a terraced berm that was really cool. You could take your chairs out there and set up shop and it was packed with people. That would be cool to do at Davis in the outfield

I personally love the Hill and it's too bad that Olsen doesn't have something similar because that would be a great look. I love stadiums that have similar layouts in college to have grass out there and either a sloped hill or staggered grass levels.

was on the hill for Tech game Sat… i like it… only thing i would do is make the hill a little more updated.. make it a true nice hill all the way around (get rid of little dwarf trees, fix the drainage, etc)

Need some trashcans our there too. and raise the hill a bit, its too steep and there's only a small part at the top you can actually hangout and see the game

Yall keep talking about this hill like its actually a hill. Its a bump and no place to watch a game from. I am all for the tailgating or picnic aspect but we need some actual seats also that make Davis look really awesome on tv.

If anything just make it taller so the view is better. As a student I enjoyed stopping by Davis and watching from the outfield after leaving Olsen.

Yeah, I don't think it was built or intended to be a place for people to watch from. People just do. Which I honestly like. It's kind of a vibe.
