Sdao getting drafted that high means he healed up well and likely was really good this season. Would be huge for us if that came to fruition.

You'd think, but he almost got drafted high this last year while recovering from TJ solely based projections and arm talent. Definitely hope his draft slot would correlate with game success in 2026, but it's been shown you can still get drafted high even if you underperform.

Sdao was projected to go in the top 3-5 rounds until he told teams he was coming back to school.

I don't fully disagree that arm talent plays a lot, but his draft stock was also high because of what he showed in late 2024 in addition to arm talent. Unless you are that freakish, arm talent alone won't bring you that high.

His ranking here appears to be some level of projection on how he will perform this season. An early/mid second round would definitely equate to a successful season.
