Anyone in the know the Schedule of the Series we are playing in Arlington (game times for our games)? As well I would assume we are playing UCLA, Virginia Tech, and Arizona State and not any conference foes.

I have no inside information, but I would guess we get the late game for all 3 days since we are the only local team this time.

We are playing Texas at home during Parents Weekend and Chilifest. Chilifest is scheduled during Parents/Ring weekend for the 2nd year in a row. On top of that, we are playing in the biggest series of the year. I hate how all 3 events are scheduled for 4/10-4/12/26 because it means a significantly increased demand for lodging in the Bryan/College Station area, which will probably lead to increased pricing.

Throw in Chilifest, which is scheduled for 4/10-4/11, to the mix. Hotel prices are already $300+ per night for that weekend. I understand that 4/3-4/5 is easter weekend, but either Chilifest or Parents weekend could have been scheduled one week later.

March 27-29 here in Columbia, MO. Benny and I will make a series this year. I'm dragging Benny to the first game so he can thank Hutch for the tour of Olsen we got during our recent visit to B/CS. It will likely just be me for games two and three.

I'd assumed he did, but I don't know.

I'd heard nothing but good things about Hutch for years (decades) but had never met him. I contacted him after Tanya died. I wanted to show Benny the places around B/CS that mattered the most to her and was afraid Olsen would be locked up.

Hutch could not have been nicer, and it turned out that we know a lot of the same people. It was like talking to someone I'd known for years. Very happy to have him representing TAMU!

He has already met with the Giants' management. I have not heard about a formal meeting with the Braves. No one here faults the guy for going pro. We are just thankful he did not jump ship for another college job.
