Why I absolutely despise Alabama cheaters

No cheating, we win at bama. Have confidence against Florida. Still lose, but retain confidence. Confidence gives us at least 4 points against missouri at the end of the game.

Travel to Vandy with swagger. Win another road game.

Season difference to date: Ags 10-2 in conference with lots of margin.

Now? No margin. Why?

Because %#^$*$*@ Alabama couldn't deal with not winning so they cheated.


Alabama basketball should suffer more than they will.

I will be mad about this for years. Even a little tarnish on Bucky Ball could cost us that 1 extra recruit we need to get to the next level. Margins are thin.

I will forever hate that horrid program.

Light hearted jab

I don't think we are that close. I think it's a middle of the road SEC team with fun potential and some major deficiencies. 10-8 is still the goal and that would be a great job done by all.

Bucky has done a great job with what he has and I like him and his style. Fans can see the potential, non-fans see the flaws - both are real and we don't know which more likely predict the future.

Nate Oats is just a grade A sh**bag and nothing he does should surprise you

I know they can't be forced to forfeit the wins but hopefully something to be considered if we're on the bubble. Because I really do think Bediako's presence cost us that game

I dont believe that because I dont know.

That's the $*%*$(@ point. They cheated and we were on a heater and now we won't know. Because they cheated.

Ive coached enough games to know the "butterfly effect" can and does happen a lot.

One guy has a bad game that turns in to 5 even though he's elite. One guy has foul trouble and the team is out of whack. Little nuances can dislodge teams like ours that lacks the full pieces to compete night in and night out.

Long rant, but moral of the story.....I hate Alabama because we won't know.

Margins ARE thin in college hoops, probably more than any other men's college sport. I agree that we probably have a better chance to close out the win in Tuscaloosa if they don't have another front court player.

We're still at a disadvantage against UF and Mizzou, but having another SEC road win would really solidify our dance bid.

At this point, we've got to hope that we can regain some momentum and get back on track.

I think the Bama game took a lot out of the team, emotionally and physically. They are now struggling to get their feet back under them.

I understand the angst but all anyone will remember is the big picture . Big picture is this team still has a chance to strongly exceed expectations by making the tourney. That would be a tremendous start for the Buckyball era.

Actually, they could, and they should. They knowingly played an illegal player, hoping to test the water and change clear NCAA rules.

But we have the wrong body parts running things-
limp wrists and a-holes.

actually, i would hate that kind of coach. i admire the coaches that called them out while it was happening. I admire the coaches that call them iut after, even if it might come off as sour grapes.

I should clarify, I don't mind him talking about the situation and his thoughts on what the eligibility requirements should be, but I think you save any "how do they make this right for us?" for behind the scenes conversations.

Not a huge deal or anything, Bucky is still the man, but I'd leave that stuff out of the public.

yeah, i get that. and i definitely felt some of that too. it's a tough call. if we finish 3-3 and dont make the tourney, it's going to be a really bitter pill.
