The defense was not good especially after first 18 seconds of shot clock. Guys running to the ball and leaving their guy and getting in terrible positions and angles. You get lots of foul calls when out of position. We were out of position a lot. Our outside shooting has to be better across the board. We got beat soundly.

I'd love to get thoughts from someone that knows ball more, but we have been playing inside more than I thought we would and not taking quick 3's early in possessions like I thought and a lot of dribbling.

I believe the answer to your question is clearly yes… it will look and be better with a more talented roster . We have some clear shortfalls in quickness especially on defense when we play against the more talented teams and they exploit it . Also we have shortfalls in strength. Other than Agee our bigs get pushed around a lot.

The more we get into the SEC season the more I believe a healthy Mgbako would have made a big difference.

More concerning we are catching everyone coming off byes. That is what sucks we needed our bye later.
