Redoing a shower at my Mom's house. I have noticed that the curb (which she wants) on some showers has a marble looking cap. We have patterned tile on the wall this would not seem to visually pleasing on the curb. Using a porcelain faux wood tile for the floor so not appropriate for the curb either. Would the cap on the shower curb be sold at a tile store or is that a custom piece.

Try a Floor and Decor. I've seen them there in past.

Are you redoing just the shower or also the cabinets/counters? When we redid the shower at our last house we did the same quartz we were using for the counters.

Search for Marble Threshold. This is what I've typically seen used.

Got mine at Home Depot. In the tile section. I actually ended up buying 4 of them because they kept breaking before and during install.

Had mine done by the counter guy too. Standard fare for them.

They also have them at Lowe's, that's where mine came from. They have several different colors and beveled/non beveled edges. More selection at floor and decor but they are more expensive.
