Uponor PEX Tubing - Should I be concerned?

As I was scrolling social media a few nights ago I was fed a reel by a plumber that was doing a bathroom remodel for a client and talked about having to replace all their PEX plumbing because it was Uponor brand.

Well that sent me down a Google rabbit hole where I found that there have been issues with colored (red/blue) Uponor tubing developing leaks due to how the color was applied to the tubing. This is the first that I had heard of this issue. Apparently it was never an issue with the clear/uncolored tubing since no color was applied.

We remodeled our town home in 2019 and re-plumbed it with Uponor PEX. That town home is now a rental unit, but I had left over tubing that I have started using in our current house to slowly replace the galvanized lines as I get the motivation to go into the attic and do so.

Now I'm wondering if I didn't just install ticking time bombs in both our rental unit and home. Before our remodel I did plenty of research that pointed to Uponor PEX-A being the superior product. I've heard of some issues of the tubing having issues if plumbers kept the reel of tubing on their truck rack exposed to UV for months on end, but that was never the case with my reels.

It's hard to find any good information online because all the search hits turn up are sensationalized websites and/or lawyers wanting you to let them represent you in suing Uponor. Has anyone had any experience with this issue? Is it something to worry about? Or just keep living and deal with it if it comes up? I'm trying to decide if I should just toss the tubing I have left and start fresh with our current house.

I would not worry about it. There are millions of feet of uponor installed in houses/projects around TX currently
