Is this common st Augustine in the pictures below? I moved in less than a year ago and want to rework the backyard. Have a portion tilled up, but not sure I want to do every sq ft since some areas look decent but the grass isn't creating any stolons. The last picture is what areas that I'm considering not tilling look like

looks like bahiagrass. Kill it and resod area. We've installed Cobalt St. Augustine over the past couple years and have been happy w/ it.

Thanks, find it interesting that this is growing sparsely and no Bermuda has taken it over anywhere really. That stuff seems to grow everywhere. It's full sun pretty much 8-10 hrs

The bottom pic is St. Augustine. The other is Bahia Grass as mentioned according to the Leap Snap app.

Water and mow and fertilize vigorously. St Augustine will take over anything if you do that.

Yeah that's the plan but I think I only got 200 sq ft or less that is what I would call worth saving so might just till it all up.

Anyone have recommendations on what to do under and around a trampoline? I currently have it in a spot I plan on having a shed built but when I move it, it'll shade out and make another part of yard no good.

Hit the area under it with glyphosate and till or just rake out the dead stuff a few days later then put down landscape cloth and some kind of 1" rock with a border slightly outside the legs of the trampoline.
