Vent hood recommendations?

Along with the sink… y'all have any recommendations for vent hoods? We're buying a Signature 48" range/oven but aren't interested in that hood.

Any y'all have experience with??

We have a Kohler Octave stainless undermount sink. Very happy with it. I like that I can put an entire 9x13 pyrex flat in the bottom of either side to soak.

While not 48", I got a Cosmo venthood and have also been very happy with it. It's not quiet, but it works well and that was my priority. Cosmo COS-QB75

From my research a few years ago Zephyr was the most recommended. We just had the insert, though, not full hood.

All I can say is don't cheap out. I did and my vent hood is so loud! I regret not just spending a few hundred more for something super quiet

ANY hood will work best if it has a "make-up air" option employed

Are you looking for one that vents completely through the roof? We have a Faber we are happy with.

That's what we decided to go with. Blower in the attic, faber hood.
