The Chapman format on Sunday at the C.C. Creations Partnership is a slightly modified version of true alternate shot. For Chapman competition, two balls for each team are in play for the first two shots on every hole. Both players hit a tee shot and then switch to hit a second shot for their partner's ball. After playing two shots on both balls, the partners choose a single ball and alternate hitting shots until it is holed. It's like foursomes, but with a little bit of a safety net.

One possible point of clarification that may resolve your issue with the form, the entry form does not ask for your birthday, it requests your age as of November 1, 2025. Presuming you're class of '89, the form expects a response of something like 57.

A handful of spots remain for the 2025 C.C. Creations Partnership. Adding teams at both ends of the spectrum...those with low handicaps, but also those with players sporting a 18-25 handicap that shoot in the 90s would be helpful. But the spots are open to anyone. Teams of all abilities can compete.

The course is playing firm and fast and the greens are in good shape despite the lack of any measurable rain in months. The good news is that means the rough is generally less thick.
