The target golf got us. We played great on all of the straight holes but the dog legs and #7 got us. Sometimes my hard head can't be talked off driver down to a 6 or 7 iron. She hit it in the water on 7 both days trying to drive it and we were in the road on 6 one day and in the trees the other because she believed she could hit a hook around the corner.

Oh well you live and learn.

Yes, it's a very tricky course and it beat us up badly last year (her first year). A lot changes in a year though for a kid playing golf. Growth spurts, a little more accuracy and length and everything becomes more manageable. If I've learned anything last year, it's patience in their development…it's a really hard game as we know (but sometimes forget when it's not me hitting the ball). Hope to see y'all at Horseshoe Bay in Dec for the Fall finale!

Hopefully we play better this time since we know what the level of competition is. She's always been long for her age and gender but she's killing it now. Higher and longer than most kids her age, if she could only chip lol

Yeah this course is a challenge for those like us who haven't seen it. We had a birdie and a couple pars but -3 is strong. Tomorrow will be survival of the fittest.

We came prepared but still nervous about temps in 40s with 30s wind chill

CONGRATS!!!! We were halfway home and wife read out final score and we cheered!!!! Our daughter said "OMG the Aggies came back and won!!!!" The she broke out into the war hymn lol Wish I had video of it. We finished solo 10th
