If the only thing Tech fans are throwing onto the field are tortillas, the Big 12 main office needs to shut their pie hole and embrace a unique tradition. Now if they throw other objects, the head office needs to come down on them like a ton of bricks.

Not that it matters because it looks like Kansas did this.

But what type of knife? Old Timer 1" wood carving folding knife? Or gas station skull handle fixed 8" collectors item.

Does Tech have a ratio they like to use for batteries to tortillas? Something like, for every battery 10 tortillas?

I doubt yall would want to make it overly complex and include knives. Math would be too confusing and possibly interfere with your drinking.

This was a brilliant diversion by KU HC to have one of his staff drop a knife and make that the focus of his end of game presser, vs having to answer how his team gave up over 300 yds rushing and 9 sacks to Tech.......

Tech is in a situation where Coach Joey is running up against coaches who have 20 year resumes in college and sometimes pro football, and he's less than 10 years out of high school and has a major program hell bent on success and a billion dollars, dumped in his lap.

And sometimes these losing opposing coaches handle it poorly. Leipold could have shut the whole thing down immediately. but he was embarrassed and is jealous. he said "pocketknife to the press

Joey will generate the same kind of feelings that "ceo coach February" Mack Brown did. oddly enough. everything handed to him.

You see how the new-hire coordinators are fresh faces instead of guys who are immensely more experienced than Joey. those 86d old timers were probably not completely on the same page. Coaches are cynical ambitious back-stabbing *******s for the most part

With all the head coach openings that currently exist, don't be surprised to see Leopold leave Kansas. He's a good football coach.

Tech's loss to ASU this weekend was an epic coaching failure in my estimation. ASU is a capable opponent. Defending Big 12 champs, with a senior and talented QB. They played an inspired game after crapping themselves last week. But Tech's offensive game plan appeared to be a remedial flag football playbook dumbed down for a freshman backup making his first start. Hammond played well enough for his part. A little slow through the progressions at times but nothing unexpected. But Tech seemed unwilling to stretch the field at all. ASU was crowding the line and daring Tech to throw deep the whole game, which unlocks the running game and give the defense time to rest, which they needed.

Joey Mac is a great recruiter and did a super job with the portal this year, but I put this loss on him and on the OC. I don't see him being a target for other teams this year, and if he is, he would be a fool to leave Tech.
