How busy/packed will the beach be in front of Palmilla Beach Resort in Port Aransas around March 18th-21st.

Thanks!

People sitting on the beach? Average to not that crowded

People driving up and down the beach making it miserable to sit on the beach, especially with kids? unbearable

Only been during the summer, but the access point right at the facility can get busy but if you drive down a bit in the morning you can definitely have some space for a while before the masses roll in

We just got back from staying at Palmilla. I was shocked as nothing within Palmilla was crowded.

They had tons of extra chairs out front. We always got multiple chairs at the pools.

Outside of the neighborhood, there were tons of younger folks cruising and loud.

But we ate at phoenix twice and Dylan's with zero problems. It was almost weird. Yesterday more people started showing up and it was noticeable. But lots of people were leaving today

Don't get me wrong, the town was busy. Just not Palmilla and the little bit we saw of cinnamon shores in the grassy area.

We all guessed that families skipped port a for spring break. And it was just younger people renting the more affordable places maybe.

In port A right now. It's empty.

Weekend was busy as that was San Antonio and Houston spring break wrapping up

I don't think many DFW folks venture down here. Just about as long as a drive to 30A and nice lodging in PortA is almost as expensive.

Sucks that the last 2 days were more like being in Northern California on the beach. Windy and cold as hell. We only had 1 beach day with the kids.

This weekend should be nice and hot.

IMO, PortA is overbuilt now. Cinnamon shores and other developments hold thousands of people.

7 hours vs 12 hours on Google Maps. Almost the same.

I'm showing 10:47 vs 7:28 from my place.

I'd take 3 hours for nicer beaches and not driving on 35

Texmex riviera was fun though. Corpus gang unit patrolling the beach on Sunday.

Trucks with stripper poles on the tailgate lol.

Plus I think a lot of DFW just fly to Pensacola. Or ftwalton beach. Lots of nonstops.
