Not sure if she has retired but last time I bought in Galveston Cheryl Lewellen Price was recommended to be the go to.
Edit to add at the time she lived on the island and knew it like the back of her hand.

Vicki at Bayou Vista Homes was great for us buying on Bolivar. Also, DO NOT use Southland Title down there. Literally the only closing I have had that was a total trainwreck due to incompetence on the title company's part.

Answered on other thread, but ...

We used Sue Johnson -- now with Gary Greene -- when we bought our Pirates Beach home several years ago.

She was with Sand N Sea at the time. SNS has a lot of good realtors, too.

I would definitely use a realtor who specializes in the west end so you have access to pocket listings.
