To set the record straight, Danielle's jersey(her number 23) was not "retired" as Rachel Mitchell is wearing no. 23 this year.

What is important though is that a replica jersey number 23 is hanging in Reed Arena for Danielle as the first female consensus All American in basketball at TAMU!

I presume Acie Law is the only men's player to have a similar honor as no. 1 is hanging there with his name on it.
